Our Adopted Children College Passports Provide Success into the Future CENTURY 21 Clary and Associates Adopts Schools Grades - April 1996 "Children Are Real Extra Special" is the motto of Jean Clary, President of CENTURY 21 Clary and Associates and her staff of REALTORS®. In 1991, as Chairman of the Greensville Foundation in Emporia, Clary and Elizabeth Johnson, Greensville's Industrial Development Director at the time, co-authored a program C.A.R.E.S. (Children Are Really Extra Special) and today it helps about 1,500 kids. Eight corporate and government sponsors shepherd eight elementary grades at an annual cost of about $5,000.00 per grade plus hundreds of hours of volunteer time. Now CENTURY 21 Clary and Associates is adopting the Kindergarten class and special education classes at South Hill Primary School and implementing the C.A.R.E.S. Program there. The program concentrates on strengthening the student's social and emotional needs. The CENTURY 21 Clary and Associates staff officially adopted their children with an Easter visit bringing treats and "Mrs. Easter Bunny" herself. A NEW ACCOUNT - May 1999 These third grade students from South Hill Elementary School have officially opened a savings account at First Virginia Bank. Jean Clary of CENTURY 21 Clary and Associates, Inc. contributed $5 to each third grader touring First Virginia Bank to open a savings account. Some students brought an additional amount of money to put into their new account. David Frazer, Senior Vice President of First Virginia Bank and Jean Clary, President, of CENTURY 21 Clary and Associates look on as students wait to open their account.
